“Burn the Oligarchy” takes you to the Jandaba Festival – a fully DIY underground loud music festival in a small town in Georgia. With no sponsors, no fees, and no budget, Jandaba exists purely through community effort, mutual support, and a shared belief in music. The festival features bands from hardcore punk to black metal. Beyond the music, this film explores the political and social reality in Georgia, where artists and organizers openly speak about life under oligarchic rule, censorship, and shrinking freedoms.
